OUR POSTERS
This poster depicts somebody opening the eyes of an ill-treated woman to the reality she is going through. We wanted to reflect that every single one of us has the power to make the nightmare of a woman stop. We also wanted to show that by untying the blindfold of a woman who is suffering gender violence, we can take her out of the isolation she is living in.
This second poster shows two sides of the face of a woman: one while she is not going through gender violence and the other with a big bruise on her eye due to a punch by her partner. With this image we want to show that as we’ve said before, we can make the life of a woman change from one side, the one with fear, to the other side, where even if she endures recovering from what she has been through, she and her life is saved.
With the third poster, we wanted to depict the difficulty that the society has to reach women who have endured gender violence. We also wanted to reflect the feeling of an ill-treated woman of knowing that gender violence is a likely topic to talk about and to find a solution to but for her, it might seem that there’s no way of escape. Moreover, we tried to show the fear and the isolation of a woman in front of such a giant monster.
