In our video, each and every brush line represents any kind of injury or harassment a woman under gender violence could endure. We decided to use different sequences of both a man painting a white canvas, and the bruises on the skin of a woman.  In painting -like gender violence- there are to subjects; the active and the passive. One has control over the other. One makes the other as they want while they cannot do anything to stop the other, the one who holds the power.  We also wanted to portray the meaning of the belt in "the Order of things", but this time with an old stained paintbrush. It is the weapon used to take control over the victim. Moreover, and what's more important about this video, is that we want to show everybody, people has suffered it, people who are now enduring it or may know someone who does, or someone who has never seen gender violence in any way, that gender violence isn't a one-way road with no return. You can get out of it. But you need help. You need someone to stop the aggressor, and we want you to know that every single one of us has the power to be that person and stop a monster from destroying another woman.
